Distant DrumÆs outdoor program is an intensive wilderness experience. We require a twenty-eight day minimum but length of stay can vary depending on the progress of the student and the needs of both the student and the family.Distant Drums is unique in that we are a NON-DEPRIVATION program. We do not feel it is in the best interest of the student to deprive them of basic comforts such as appropriate clothing, bedding, food and water.
